Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a plain-language agreement between you (an individual or the agency you represent, "you") and Bluprent ("Bluprent", "we", "us") governing your use of the Bluprent CRM and website-management platform (the "Service"). By creating a workspace, starting a trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.
1. The Service
Bluprent is a subscription tool for web developers and agencies to manage clients, deals, invoices, and the websites they build and maintain — including uptime/SSL/domain monitoring, SEO audits, a client portal, and project tracking. We may add, change, or remove features over time; we'll try not to remove anything you rely on without notice.
2. Your Account & Responsibility
You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your workspace — including actions taken by team members and client portal users you invite. Tell us right away at support@bluprent.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal, fraudulent, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to another workspace, account, or the systems behind the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission.
- Upload malware, or use the Service to attack, disrupt, or scan systems you don't own or have permission to test.
- Overload or abuse the Service in a way that degrades it for other customers.
4. Third-Party Credentials You Store
Part of the Service lets you connect your clients' websites for monitoring and maintenance by storing credentials you control — for example SSH login secrets and WordPress application passwords. This is sensitive access to systems that belong to your clients, not to us or to Bluprent as a company.
By storing these credentials, you represent that you have the legal authority to access the relevant system and to share that access with the Service, and that doing so doesn't violate any agreement you have with your client or a third party. We encrypt credential secrets at rest (see our Privacy Policy for how), but you're responsible for using appropriately scoped credentials — for example a limited WordPress application password rather than a full admin password — and for revoking access you no longer need.
You own the content and data you put into the Service — your CRM records, notes, invoices, and any credentials you store. We don't claim ownership over it, and we only access it to operate, support, and secure the Service, or as required by law.
5. Trial, Plans & Billing
Access is invite-only — approved applicants get a free 14-day trial on the plan they were invited to, no card required. Current plans and pricing (Solo, Studio, and Concierge) are published at bluprent.io/pricing and may change with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
- When your trial ends, you choose a paid plan to continue. If you don't, your workspace becomes read-only — your data stays intact and is never deleted or held hostage for payment.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually to the payment method on file. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at your next renewal.
- You can cancel at any time from your workspace settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
- Client portal logins for your own clients are unlimited on every plan and never count toward your team-member limit.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms (including Section 3 or 4), if your account is seriously past due, or if required to comply with the law. Where practical, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first. On termination, our data handling follows the retention and deletion terms in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it reliable and secure, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Monitoring features (uptime, SSL, domain checks) help you catch problems with your clients' sites faster — they're not a guarantee those sites, or Bluprent itself, will never go down.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bluprent won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes, we'll notify active subscribers by email or an in-app notice before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
